From July 1st 2016, the European eIDAS regulation comes into force, enabling harmonized electronic identification and trust services for millions EU citizens, businesses and public administrations. September will be timely for a thorough assessment of eIDAS’ impact for both Trusted Services Providers and organizations implementing it. The stakes go well beyond the EU borders!
The EU Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive is on the rails for entry into force in August 2016. This new set of measures aimed at ensuring ”a high common level of network and information security across the Union” will impact a large number of private operators of critical sectors and public administrations. A panel will discuss them with regards to the various situation in different EU countries.
